Armenia gets over $ 45 million assistance from U.S.

Armenia will get $ 45.2 assistance from U.S. for democracy development in 2011, http://www.foreignassistance.gov website says.

Armenia will be allocated assistance for 6 main directions: peace and stability – $9.4 m, democracy, human rights and governance – $13.2 m, health – $5.9 m, education and social services – $1.9 m, economic development – $13.4 m, humanitarian assistance – $1.6 m. Neighboring Georgia will receive – $90.1 m, Azerbaijan – $29.2 m, Russia – $68.7 m, while Turkey – $ 5.9 m.
